Rental Conditions

As İzmir My Rent A Car, we adopt as a basic principle to provide transparent, reliable and legal services to our guests at every stage of the car rental process. Rental conditions stated below; It is valid for all car rental transactions made through our website, call center and offices.

Age and Driving License Requirements

Minimum age and driving license requirements according to vehicle segments are stated below:

Age Limit

• Economic Group: At least 23 age
• Middle Group: At least 23 years old
• Upper and Luxury Group: At least 25 years old

Driving License Period

• Economic & Middle Group:At least 3 years
• Upper & Luxury Group: At least 5 years

During vehicle delivery, it is mandatory to present a valid driver's license and credit card issued in the name of the tenant.

Our foreign national guests; They must present their passports and a document showing that the date of entry to Turkey is less than 6 months. A Turkish driver's license is required from foreign driver's license holders who have been in Turkey for more than 6 months.

If the specified conditions are not met, vehicle delivery cannot be made even if a reservation is made.

Credit Card and Deposit

In car rental transactions, a credit card defined in the name of the tenant and open to internet use is required. Depending on the vehicle group, a pre-authorization (deposit) will be taken from your credit card. If there is no problem at the end of the rental period, this amount is automatically released.

On-Site Payment, Reservation and Cancellation Conditions

• Reservations can be canceled free of charge.

Services Included in the Prices

All prices on our website include the following services:

• VAT
• Specified mileage right of use
• Exempt Accident Insurance (CDW)

CDW; Covers damage resulting from collision. Tire, glass, headlight and parking damages this scope

Situations Where Insurance Is Considered Invalid

In the following cases, insurance is deemed invalid and all damages will be the responsibility of the tenant:

• Use of the vehicle by someone other than the person specified in the contract
• Use contrary to traffic rules
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Wrong fuel usage
• Using the vehicle for purposes other than its intended purpose or with improper load
• Failure to report an accident or theft in a timely manner
• Failure to obtain the required traffic and alcohol reports
• Failure to deliver the vehicle keys
• Delayed delivery of the vehicle without approval

Additional Services Not Included in the Prices

• Non-Exempt Accident Assurance (Full / Top Cover)
• Theft Assurance
• Third Party Liability Insurance
• One-way rental fee
• HGS tolls and service fee
• Additional kilometer package
• Additional driver (daily fee)
• Baby / child seat
• Contract changes and operational extras

Mileage and Duration Usage

• For daily rentals, 200 km limit may be applied.
• The rental period is calculated on the basis of 24 hours.
• For late deliveries, 30% of the daily rental fee for each hour. A fee may be charged.

Reservation and Contract Conditions

Reservation confirmation is sent via e-mail. It is the customer's responsibility to retain confirmation information. In case of typographical errors or systematic disputes, https://www.izmirmyrentacar.com/ records are taken as basis.

In cases where it is deemed necessary, equivalent vehicle allocation can be made for confirmed reservations or vehicle delivery can be cancelled. In this case, the collected fee is refunded.

Final Provisions

İzmir My Rent A Car reserves the right to cancel vehicle delivery, even if a definitive reservation has been made, due to mechanical failure, accident, force majeure or operational obligations. You can contact our customer services for detailed information.
